A Summary of an Article
I've chosen an article about European theatre to read about performances which we don't have in our city, such as Ivo van Hove's Kings of War which compresses three of Shakespeare's stories into one play and uses live projection, which I've read in article. There's also some new information that I found interesting about German dramaturgy, in particular Thomas Ostermeier's Richard III, which invented new sequences and works with microphones. 


Reading an article with characteristics of the European theatre, I was matching it with my views about the contemporary theatre formed with performances I’ve watched in ”Old House”. As for the quality “modern technologies”, performance “l’m Here” immediately comes to my mind, because all acts are closely related to the mode of three-dimensional cinema.

As for the contemporary theatre in general, I would like to say some words about.


I think that the one of the main qualities of contemporary theatre is its actuality, democracity, and social direction. Actually, theatre ceased to be something for elite. Some time later, theatre starts exposing themes that are actual for a big amount of people. Today theatre is an important part of society. 


Directors manage to resolve important social problems with the help of aesthetics. I've read an opinion about past theatre ideology, which was about 'dictatorsip conjuncture'. Even though it was true, today we have a real modern dramaturgy. 
After reading an article, few opinions, and basing on my favourite performances, I've formed some information about contemporary theatre. In today's repertoires we can discover everything except from classical plays with traditional costumes and decoration. 
On the contrary, contemporary theatre tries to create its own language and it happens before our eyes. As we can read in the article, there's some information about German dramaturgy, in particular Thomas Ostermeier's Richard III, which invented new sequences and works with microphones. However, I think that it's important to classificate its styles and methods for clear understanding, 


According to the article, we can observe that a great tendency of contemporary theatre and modernity in general are information technologies. This instrument gives an opportunity to create new forms and art contents, entering into new sense and purpose, not forgetting last tendencies. 



As a result, the diversity of information technologies gives an unlimited freedom to create a new way of expressiveness. At the same time, an idea, concept, and dramaturgy still have a leading role, but these are looking for a new audience.


I would like to learn more about European plays not related to modernity that an article doesn't include.

Hologram of Amy Winehouse set for 2019 worldwide tour The article “Hologram of Amy Winehouse set for 2019 worldwide tour” written by Laura Snapes is devoted to the discussion of the problem of development of disadvantaged young people through music. First, the author draws our attention to projection of the late singer. Then he analyzes the purpose of this performance.  He gives an example of awareness for Amy's Foundation and also emphasizes that Amy's Hologram is the third such project.
