Pierre Rigal: Scandale review – hip-hop dance jolts and cackles to the beat

Hip-hop industry started working in far 70s. It was the first music, that fully discovered an ideology of Hispanic culture, being built by antagonism of White American culture. Hip-hop was developed by DJ Afrika Bambaataa, who divided this subculture in five aspects that called DJing, MCing, Breaking, graffiti and knowledge(special philosophy).

All that happens now still amazes public; but recently, it's absolutely normal, just beautiful for those who understand art events. Choreographers construct a new kind of self-expression all over the world. Contemporary directors use subculture as a powerful apparatus for making perfomance. An evidence for this statement is Pierre Rigal's working.

Pierre connected hip-hop dancing style, original clothes, aesthetics of contemporary art, and own conscious that allowed him to make scandale high-concept community. Even if perfomers felt themselves being trapped in creation myth, it can be regarded as a victim for art.
He put in practice usual phenomena such as human breath and voice, music instruments that, merging, created a new picture.

Hologram of Amy Winehouse set for 2019 worldwide tour The article “Hologram of Amy Winehouse set for 2019 worldwide tour” written by Laura Snapes is devoted to the discussion of the problem of development of disadvantaged young people through music. First, the author draws our attention to projection of the late singer. Then he analyzes the purpose of this performance.  He gives an example of awareness for Amy's Foundation and also emphasizes that Amy's Hologram is the third such project.
